How we grow
Amongst our 100 acres of field crops, we have 10 acres of polytunnels which give us an extended season to grow our unique range of baby leaves and speciality herbs. This is done to the highest specification using innovative growing methods and biological controls. Our dedicated growers are committed to producing crops in a natural and environmentally sensitive way.
We grow as much as we can in Mersin and cut every day with a 12-hour turnaround. To complement our summer season, we have an established overseas supplier network of quality-controlled growers with GLOBAL GAP accreditation as a minimum standard from Israel, Italy, Spain, Ethiopia and Kenya. The growers who we work with all share the same high standards and commitment as Mehmet Herbal Farm.
Our farm manager Rob makes sure the produce we grow is of the best quality possible, delivering great taste for our customers. He plans meticulously from ground preparation, drilling the crop, spraying to harvesting to achieve the best quality and consistent supply.

To complement our seasonal production, we import directly from quality controlled growers in Israel and Spain. This allows us to meet year round demand from our loyal customers, while ensuring we have full traceability from field to fork.
